There is a website to help guide you through the admissions procedure (similar to the UCAS website) where you can search for courses for example by instrument or by course type with links to the conservatoires’ websites, so that you can research your interests even further.

It is also the place where you register, and then fill in your form. Once you’ve applied you will be able to check your progress through ‘track’ as you can with UCAS.

Timeline

You can start to fill in your form from 1st May and the deadlines there after are as follows:

1st October
Closing date for on-time applications
31st January
Reply to offers by this date
15th April

There is a handy telephone number if you get stuck: 0870 1122208, 08.30-17.30 Monday to Friday

The beauty of the CUKAS system is that it is in addition to your UCAS applications. So you will be able to make 11 electronic applications (5 through UCAS, and 6 through CUKAS). You could even apply for more if you choose other colleges that are not currently part of CUKAS or UCAS!

Visit the CUKAS website to find out more.
